So Ohio Linux Fest didn’t have Internet while at the hotel or convention center, since they said they would be held captive by the outrageously high price either of those providers wanted. Which is just sad, since it would probably be cheaper to lease fiber and install the access points than pay the outrageous price, but they can’t do that either, rules and all.
So now in Tampa, which is an odd stop on the way to Austin, but it has free wireless at the airport (Which Austin, supposedly one of the most wireless cities in the early 2000s, still doesn’t have, sigh), so all is good.
Also, Chili’s has horrible, horrible, overpriced breakfast in airports. Just so you know.
